Final Results
SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Behind terrific performances by
Collin Sepulveda and Tiffani Mays, the UIW track and field teams concluded the seventh annual Cardinal Invitational Saturday at Benson Stadium.

LEADERS
Sepulveda conquered the men's 400m hurdles with a 54.14, not only beating his old PR by nearly four seconds, but it was the third-fastest time in school history and came two seconds from the meet record.
Gracen Odendahl won the women's race with a new PR of 1:04.96.
Mays won the 400m dash with a time of 56.09, a new season best. She then won the 200m with a wind-aided time of 24.43, which is a new PR. That time is the sixth-fastest in the Southland Conference this season and the fastest this week.
Keila Rodriguez ran a strong 800, as she won with a season-best time of 2:14.31, two-and-a-half seconds faster than the runner-up finisher, and the second-fastest time in the SLC this season.
Jerica Love and
LaShawnda Simmons went 1-2 in the women's 100m dash, running 11.87 and 11.89, respectively. Those times both crushed the ladies' old PRs. Those times are both in the Top 6 in the conference.
Cameron White finished second overall and was the top collegian in the men's 400m dash with a time of 49.45, a new PR for the freshman.
The quartet of

Clinton Cole,
Kentonie Thomas, and
Uchenna Nnaji won the 4x100 relay with a time of 41.06. In the men's triple jump,
Robert Allen won with a leap of 13.85m.
Ashley Joyner (1.60m) and
Claire Woodson (3.35) were victorious in the high jump and pole vault, respectively, a new PR for Woodson.
