The third day of the four day meet began with the men's 400-yard individual medley.  Sophomore David Moore (San Antonio/Marshall HS) blew away the field for the second straight year.  He touched the wall in 3:49.10 which was an NCAA Division I 'B' cut time.  Aaron Moran (Helotes/Brandeis HS) finished third in the vent for the Cardinals in a time of 3:55.65.

Similarly, freshman Alona Kyselova (Kiev, Ukraine/Tarasa Shevchenko) won the women's 400-yard individual medley in a time of 4:13.15 that broke the CCSA and school records.

The UIW men had a number of top performances, but did not win any more races on the day.  Mehdi El Hazzaz (Casablanca, Morocco/Al Jabr) and Andrey Chechelnytskyi each earned runner-up honors in their races.  El Hazzaz swam the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 1:37.87 while Chechelnytskyi was in the 100-yard breaststroke and swam a time of 55.27 in the finals.  He also swam a time of 54.68 in the preliminaries.
